I’m Andrew Finkle, a chemical engineer, founder, and Adjunct Professor at the University of Waterloo.

I lead NanoPaper at Tangho Green Canada Inc., where my work spans material development, manufacturing scale-up, and technical partnerships. Previously, I co-founded Structur3d Printing and helped develop tools for working with soft materials.

I earned my PhD in chemical engineering at the University of Waterloo, where I also completed my master's degree. My research has explored cellulose nanofibers, advanced manufacturing, and polymer nanocomposites.

In 2020, I also co-founded OpenLung, an open source engineering initiative to develop ventilator designs during the COVID-19 pandemic.
